What is Gellet?
Gellets® are colorful absorbent beads that disintegrate on contact and begin their dehydration process.
Does it hurt?
The BIGGEST question….These are considered projectiles and they are fired from the blaster with a mechanical motor and piston. At worst case (up close not recommended for fun) may feel like the sting of a rubber band. Most of the time the Gellet will splat on impact.
Is there a huge mess?
The gellet is designed to splat on impact in most cases. However not all the time will the gellet make contact with something causing it to splat. In the event that the gellet remains whole it will dehydrate and disappear within a time period depending on the temperature humidity, environment etc…..
Does it stain clothes?
There are no staining issues since the gellet is appx 99% water based. There may be gel residue on an article of clothing etc….but it can be washed, rinsed or left to dehydrate and disappear on its own.
What is a party rental package?
A party rental package will consist of a set # of blasters (gun), amount of gellets (ammo), face protection and bunkers to hide behind. The package will also have a set rental time frame based upon the package purchased and additional items if added. Coaches and Referees can by included along with staff to assemble and tear down the event.
How long is the average rental?
2 hour minimum rental is required for all items and is sufficient amount of time to have fun. Most parties last up to 3 hours before you are ready to kick out the guest…lol! However longer time or bigger packages can be purchased. If questions on larger parties please contact us.
How do you rent A La Carte items?
Additional equipment (Bunkers, Blasters, Gellets, Arenas, etc ) will be rented same way as packages. The more you rent the more you save. Ask about available bundles.
Is there an age limit?
Recommended ages stated are for 6 years and up. Kids younger than 6 may require assistance with proper use, mechanics, face protection fit and safe operation. At the time of the rental it will be discussed of the importance of supervision for any child under 13 years old. This should be fun for ages 5 to 105.
Are the gellets safe for kids and pets?
The gellets are environmentally friendly, bio-degradable and non toxic. They are safe around pets however disclaimer states that these are not intended to be ingested or used in any other fashion other than to be used in the blasters.
Is there a deposit?
All bookings require a 25% deposit via credit card, with the balance 75% due when we arrive for your event. We accept cash and all major credit cards on the day of your event, no checks please. All deposits are non-refundable, but are transferable. If you need to change your party date we are happy to work with you to find a new date and apply your deposit to it. We do require 48 hours notice for any change that is not weather related.
Do you have to sign a waiver?
Every participant, Child or Adult, must have a signed waiver on the day of the event. You can direct your guest to our website for them to download the waiver to bring with them, you can print and mail them with invitations, or we will have some printed and ready to be signed at the event. Any player with out a signed waiver will not be allowed to participate. The person who booked the party will assume all liability for person injury, damage to property and pay any fees incurred to the party rental equipment.
Can you play in the rain?
We cannot control mother nature, so it may be that when your party starts the weather is nice however if it rains, only the Piranha blasters can be used in the rain. If a non-Piranha blaster is damaged due to water, the person who booked the party will be responsible for replacement.
Is the equipment cleaned after each event?
Yes! All of our equipment is cleaned thoroughly. We are committed to making sure that you and or your children are playing with clean, well maintained, and safe equipment. After each rental, equipment is thoroughly cleaned by commercial vinyl cleaners, disinfected, sanitized and then will be inspected to ensure it’s cleanliness. There will be no substitute for cleanliness.
What is the best event for renting a GelBlaster package?
Everything…! Any kids events, birthday parties, bar/bat Mitzvahs, school events, graduations, team building, stress relief, adult parties, bachelorette parties, bachelor parties, family reunions, company events, fundraisers, neighborhood/community events, church events, festivals or just because you want to!!!!!
